President of Beni Suef University participates in the Supreme Council meeting of Universities

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, participated in the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, which was held at Alexandria University, headed by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Latif, Secretary General of the Council, and the presidents of universities
Dr. Mansour emphasized that the helding of the Supreme Council in one of the universities expressed an important message, which means fully supporting of the Supreme Council for the various Egyptian universities, and also reviews the role of different universities in achieving societal development in the various Egyptian governorates
The university president explained that the Supreme Council of Universities discussed a number of topics, the most important them is the preparations for the implementation of the hybrid learning pattern for the academic year 2020/2021, and it depends on the combination of face-to-face and distance learning, and enables the student to obtain the knowledge aspect and some skills through distance learning. He emphasized that the university was proactive in preparing for this pattern, as lectures for students were applied remotely, and training for faculty members in the university's colleges and institutes was also approved
Dr. Mansour Hassan indicated that the council also discussed receiving high school students to perform aptitude tests amidst the precautionary measures against the Corona virus and the necessity for students to wear masks and social distance, stressing that the university has received 1069 students in 3 colleges, physical Education, , Applied Arts and Media since the exams were opened in the eighth of this August.
